PREFACE

It is our great honour to present the First issue of the International Journal of Building Sustainability and Secure. This special issue is a collection of articles on the protection of the critical objects of infrastructure due to shock wave due to explosion or Seismicexplosion. I hope that this issue will stimulate to researches with expertise in various engineering fields, and encourage them to apply their skills to the field of the Sustainability and Secure in Civil Engineering for Human life’s protection.

Finally, as a guest editor, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the members of the editorial committee and the advisory board of the journal for giving me an opportunity to edit this issue. I am especially grateful to all the authors and reviewers of the manuscripts, Professor Vladimir Křístek, Editor-in-Chief, for his valuable advices.
